Hello Friends!

So your probably all curious to knowing why I decided to name my blog "Tickle Me Yellow".  Therefore, here's a little story for ya...

I wanted a name that would fully encompass everything that I was going to feature on my blog.  And, well of course, sound cute and be meaningful to me in some way.  After much thought, the word 'yellow' came to mind.  No, yellow is not my favorite color, but it is the name of my favorite song by Coldplay.  I tell you, this song holds such a strong significance in my life.  It's the only song that I can listen to in any mood...happiness, frustration, sadness and yet it always reminds me how LOVED I am by our Savior, Jesus Christ.  As well as challenges me to love others just a little more, day by day.

Baking.  Crafting.  Kids Play.  Are all things that I'm passionate about and love to create.  There's something about using simple, ordinary ingredients or items and turning them into something extraordinary that fascinates me.  And well kids, I've always enjoyed coming up with activities that help shape their creativity and are plain fun!  

I am definitely no Martha Stewart or wizard of any sort, but I hope my posts can bring you some inspiration.  Everything that I create comes from the heart and "Tickle Me Yellow".
